Dr. ABE Blank is a fully automated programming system for sheet metal processing using AMADA punching, laser and punch-laser combination machines. Dr. ABE Blank is just as suitable for processing single components as it is for complex nesting work. After selecting a component – which can be taken from the AMADA database or from a DXF import – the system fully automatically generates for as many sheet metal processing steps as necessary the nesting, sorting, technology assignment and the NC code.

One of the special features of the software is that all processing parameters can be adapted to your own individual requirements, to obtain the best-possible result automatically with the least amount of subsequent manual work.

Should subsequent manual work be necessary on the component or the nesting, changes can be made easily and intuitively. That is how Dr. ABE Blank reduces the time necessary for programming processes which, should they have to be done manually, would be extremely work-intensive and time consuming.

Dr. ABE Blank supports the exchange of data with the AMADA database. That means all the data relevant to production is available to you on demand – from the individual component along with its technology assignment, right to the finished job over multiple sheet metal layouts.
